The Department of Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences at Utah State University (USU) is seeking applicants for two non-tenure track faculty positions in its Veterinary Technology program. One full-time, fiscal-year position based in Logan, Utah will focus on small animal medicine and serve as Program Director. The second position, a 0.75 FTE fiscal-year appointment located in Blanding, Utah, will emphasize large animal medicine and veterinary service in rural communities. Both roles are primarily teaching-focused with a small service component and may be filled at the Assistant or Associate Professor of Professional Practice level, depending on qualifications. Faculty will contribute to a new hybrid, stackable Associate of Science degree program launching Fall 2026, designed to prepare students for the Veterinary Technician National Exam and allow pathways from certificate to bachelor’s degree.
